Overview
The Onboarding Engineer is a client-facing role that creates a smooth transition for new Portnox customers from Proof-of-Concept into production setup, and deployment to surface product values. The Onboarding team plays a crucial role in establishing a post-sale customer success relationship.
Responsibilities
- Deep technical understanding of Portnox solutions to ensure all required use cases are implemented in customers production network within the scope and timeline defined
- Build solid relationships with various customer roles to provide smooth customer success engagement
- Document and communicate product feedback and new requirements from the field to drive cross-team collaboration
- Manage several onboarding processes in parallel, address technical issues and document progress
- Identify growth opportunities within existing customers accounts
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with network configuration and architecture – Layer 2/Layer 3 Switching/Routing, TCP/IP, VPN
- Great interpersonal skills and positive customer facing attitude with excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
- Independent, initiator, and a team player
- Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Advantages:
- 2+ years of experience in product support / professional services for an international hi-tech company
- Experience with cyber security products or IT Networking
- Understanding of Active Directory, switching, network security, AAA, SaaS, Device Management
- Technical Bachelor’s degree
- Deployment project management experience
