Portnox Honored for Unified Access Control, as well as Innovations in NAC and ZTNA at 2025 Top InfoSec Innovator Awards

UAC NAC and ZTNA Award

AUSTIN, TXOctober 29, 2025 Portnox, a leader in cloud-native zero trust access control and cybersecurity solutions, today announced that it has been named a winner in three categories at the 2025 Top InfoSec Innovator Awards from Cyber Defense Magazine (CDM)— Pioneering Unified Access Control, Most Innovative Network Access Control (NAC), and Most Innovative Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).

Winners were revealed during this week’s CyberDefenseCon 2025, the magazine’s exclusive annual conference gathering 300+ of the world’s top CISOs in Orlando, Florida. This year’s recognition follows Portnox’s strong track record in the program, including being named a finalist earlier this year for its Unified Access Control solution and winning the 2024 Top InfoSec Innovator Award for Cutting-Edge Network Access Control.

Adding to the company’s presence at the event, Garrett Gross, VP of Applied Engineering at Portnox, is leading a roundtable discussion on advancing zero trust strategies.

“We’re honored to be recognized again by Cyber Defense Magazine for leading the evolution of access control,” said Denny LeCompte, CEO of Portnox. “These awards reflect our vision to unify and simplify access control for modern environments—delivering zero trust security that’s as easy to use as it is powerful.”

Portnox’s Unified Access Control Platform consolidates several foundational technologies: Network Access Control (NAC), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and TACACS+ into a single, cloud-native solution. This unified approach eliminates the complexity and fragmentation of legacy access control tools, enabling consistent policy enforcement and real-time visibility across wired, wireless, remote, and administrative access scenarios.

Through cloud-native NAC, ZTNA, and TACACS+, Portnox empowers IT and security teams to deploy Zero Trust principles organization-wide—without on-premise hardware, extensive configuration, agents, or VPN overhead.

This recognition builds on Portnox’s continued industry momentum, including being named Best Solution for Network Access Control in the 2025 Global InfoSec Awards at RSA Conference.
